Message from the president
| On a personal note, many of you know that I will be stepping down as President. It has been a genuine privilege to represent the association over the past four and a half years. I have enjoyed every minute of it, thanks in no small part, to the support of an outstanding committee and your presence at various events. The time has now come to hand over to someone who has played a key role in our digital development and who has been a dedicated member of the committee for many years. Most of you will know Ed Hazlewood from the legendary Christmas Quiz duo, and I am delighted to announce that he has agreed to take on the role of President from the 1st October. We do, of course, need to make this official by electing him at our AGM, which will take place just before the Business Lunch at the Cercle de l’Union on the 25th September. If you are a paid-up member, we would be very grateful if you could attend or, if you are unable to do so, complete and return the proxy form that you can download here.
