May Business Lunch – what is Design ?
May’s business lunch was held at the Lyinc and our guest speaker was Thomas Rosset, Artistic Director at TwinFish Design and member of Designers+.
Thomas’ presentation was focussed on DESIGN, with a capital D! As well as being a designer, Thomas’ background offered us a great perspective of how design adds value across business and in life in general! Apple, Nespresso and Ikea (Scandanavia, we learnt, has a real appreciation of the power of design) were all examples that Thomas elicited from members and guests; Thomas’ presentation style was especially appreciated, interactive, calm, touches of humour and a real sense that we were listening to an expert who remains incredibly humble!
