Catherine ROMEYER, Sustainable Tourism Director at ONLYLYON Congress & Tourism is in charge of sustainable processes within OnlyLyon (label/CSR certification) and supports travel and tourism professionals in their quest to provide a more green approach within their industry. In 2021 Lyon boasted a leadership position as the 1st French city and the 7th city worldwide in the The Global Destination Sustainability Index (GDS-Index).
Catherine will talk to us about the challenges of maintaining this leadership position, how to excel in ‘green tourism’ and the opportunities for business growth in LYON.

Michel Celemenski, co-founder, with Sara Green, and MD of W5 Editorial, will share a selection of his extraordinary stories from his years as a journalist and interpreter. He has worked with some of the biggest names on the planet, making his journalistic debut at the age of 16 when he met and interviewed a famous rockstar. He has since met, interviewed and interpreted for company chairmen, politicians, presidents, and film stars to name just a few… His stories are riveting, so this promises to be a very entertaining lunch!
Michel will share information at the end of the lunch about a book that he has translated from Yiddish into French which will be published very soon. ‘Coupés du Monde’ is the chronicle of one of his family members who was an underground agent and resistant in Nazi-occupied Poland during WWII.

Xavière Castano co-founded CROSSJECT, a pharmaceutical company based in Dijon, specialising in the research of needle-free injections in 2001.
