FIBA EVENTS

With the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games about to get underway in South Korea, FIBA members are invited to ‘Come & Try’ the Olympic sport of Curling!
In association with the Lyon Curling Club and FIBA member Joanna Kelly (JBKCOM), the first 15 FIBA members to sign up will get a chance to get on the ice, throw some curling stones and discover the technicalities of this 500-year old sport!

The first 15 FIBA members to sign up with actually get on the ice to try curling.

You need to wear ‘flexible’ and ‘warm’ clothes. Hat and gloves. Trainers with rubber soles are the best shoes to wear on the ice.

Others can sign up to come and watch and laugh…??!! This event is FREE to FIBA members
As is the tradition after every curling game, you will be offered a wee something to warm you up after being out on the ice.

Aymeric de Mollerat is director at Invest in Lyon (formerly Aderly). His previous experience includes applied research in both France and abroad, consultancy, finance and business development. Prior to joining the team in Lyon, Aymeric worked in international development for ERAI (Entreprise Rhône-Alpes International).
