To make the process easier for everyone on the day, we have set up a booking platform this year, to enable players to secure their place and pay in advance by credit card. You will see that you can book to play and have lunch (special rate of 70 EUR), or book lunch only (for 25€, for Beaujolais members). We do hope you can make it for this year’s FIBA golf day and we look forward to seeing you there!

At this year’s Fiba evening cocktail we are proud to present an illustrious line-up of speakers from Lyon’s pioneering centres of excellence in the field of cancer treatment.
Professor Colin McGuckin of award winning CTI Biotech will be giving us an insight into the historical achievements in cancer research and his reasons for being optimistic for the future,

Dr Patrick Mehlen , head of nationally acclaimed research teams, and currently director of Fondation Synergie Lyon Cancer will talk of the advances in treatment, and last but not least, one of our own members who has recently benefitted from new procedures will give her testimony as a patient.

All profit raised from this event will be donated to the SYNERGIE Lyon association whose funds go directly into cancer research. Exploring the planet Mars
Cathy Nataf, Professor at Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University and well known for her work at Sciences pour Tous http://sciencespourtous.univ-lyon1.fr/mars-cest-vision-terre-aux-origines-vie/ will present the fascinating subject of space exploration at our lunch on the 12th April. Sign up here

An international financial advisor from the independent Spectrum IFA Group will be explaining the implications of Brexit on retirement plans held in the UK. In the current market uncertainty, (Trump, Brexit-Sterling, US-Chinese trade war, the worrying European slowdown…) , the talk will also cover how to find a good place to get international financial advice and why/how to invest.
