FIBA GOLF DAY
October 12th was FIBA’s annual golf day and 2017’s event, the 8th edition in all was played again at the Gouverneur, along with our good friends from the Club des Entrepreneurs.
The weather was extraordinary, transforming an already beautiful golf course on what turned out to be a gorgeous Indian summer’s day (stunning photos) eating in the full sun at 2pm was almost too warm!
Over 40 golfers enjoyed a super morning’s golf, followed by lunch and prize giving, led by the founding father of the golf tournament, Tim Hughes. My thanks once again to him for all his efforts in putting together such a great day.
Sebastien Schleicher won the longest drive competition and last year’s winner, Adam Gorman, returned to successfully defend the FIBA trophy, alongside Philippe Mousset from the Club des Entrepreneurs.
We look forward to next year’s event, which will follow a few days after the historic Ryder Cup, being held in France for the very first time!
