October Business lunch

October’s lunch was the opportunity for many FIBA members to hear Tim present his unique look at the issue that has dominated British politics and much else in the last 3,5 years. Earlier in the year, I was among the lucky few who attended a Lyinc dinner event when Tim entertained the audience with a historical and political exposé of Brexit, to great acclaim.
On this occasion, timing constraints meant that a shorter, punchier presentation was the “order” (John Bercow!) of the day. Tim delivered once more, combining a clear preference for the remain argument with his usual sharp observations and good humour.
This was the best attended business lunch of the year; we often discuss at committee meetings which ingredients deliver the best events…to date I believe it’s a combination of the best presenter along with a topic that is highly relevant to the audience…an added measure of topicality only enhances the cocktail’s flavor and texture!
